A lasting shine.
Sterling silver naturally darkens over time when it meets air and moisture. Our earrings are sealed with a protective e-coat that helps slow this down, and a little care keeps them bright for longer.
Store them dry
Keep each pair in its Zenvie gift box or a small pouch, away from bathrooms and other damp places. Storing pairs separately also stops them scratching each other.
Put them on last
Perfume, hairspray, body lotion and cleaning products can dull silver and wear the e-coat, so add your earrings after these and take them off before swimming, bathing or exercise.
Clean gently
Wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth after wearing. If a piece needs more, use a little mild soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid silver dips, abrasive polishes and ultrasonic cleaners, which can strip the protective coating and damage coloured epoxy, crystals and plating.
Gold plated pieces need the same gentle care; rubbing hard will wear plating over time.
Check the backs
Make sure butterfly backs are pushed on firmly, and replace a loose back rather than risk losing an earring.
